Abstract
Our visual analytics tool allows exploration, understanding, and decision making on large volumes of electronic documents. This tool is used primarily by legal professionals to meet the requirements of the discovery process outlined in the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. The main impact of the tool is that this visualization is used by lawyers to (a) quickly make decisions on large quantities of documents, (b) ensure consistent and defensible disposition of the documents, and (c) dramatically reduce the financial costs of discovery.
